Walker’s Cleaning Service are committed to Health & Safety and are constantly monitoring, reviewing and improving our procedures to reduce any possible hazards that might arise in the work place.

It is imperative we adopt safe working practices at all times therefore ensuring a safe working environment.  This is not only enforced by our regular spot checks but through our on going Health and Safety awareness programme and on site training to ensure all topics are tailored to each individual site.

Prior to the commencement of any work, we ensure a full and thorough site specific Risk Assessment and Method Statement is completed which is submitted to the client.  This is completed by our team of fully qualified Health and safety personnel.

All our staff are highly experienced and understand the importance of Health & Safety.  They regularly undergo rigorous training programmes and frequently attend safety reviews and “tool box talks”. 

We are very proud to have achieved and hold the following Accreditations:

• CHAS Accreditation.  (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).
• Select Accredit Supplier Qualification Certificate in association with Constructionline.

INSURANCE

At Walker’s cleaning service we have a tailor made insurance package to meet all our insurance needs.

We continually monitor our company’s activities to ensure we remain appropriately insured.  All staff, equipment and vehicles are covered and every year our insurance is assessed in order to obtain our CHAS and Select Accredit status.

A copy of our insurance certificate is provided with every free no obligation quotation.

CHAS

CHAS is a government approved scheme which is set up to assure potential clients that its scheme members are adequately insured and are compliant with all aspects of Health & Safety law.

SELECT ACCREDIT

In order for us to achieve a Select Accredit status we must undergo a detailed analysis of all aspects of our business on an annual basis.  The Accreditation is conducted to the same standard as the UK Government-backed Constructionline service.  This assessment is completed by the government approved vetting service provider Capita.
