As part of Walkers’ programme to reduce our environmental impact, we were pleased to take delivery of our first electric van last week. Electric vehicles have no emissions, zero engine noise, and have low running costs.
We will be carrying out a 3 month trial using the vehicle across a range of our different contracts and services, to fully understand its advantages and disadvantages. This will enable us to determine the feasibility of introducing further electric vehicles.
